By downloading, installing, or using Fud AI ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Fud AI is a free, open-source nutrition tracking application that uses AI to estimate the nutritional content of food from photos, text descriptions, and voice input. The app supports multiple AI providers — you bring your own API key.
Nutritional information provided by Fud AI is generated by your chosen AI provider and is estimated, not exact. These estimates should be used as general guidance only. Fud AI is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Always consult a healthcare professional for dietary decisions.
Fud AI is open source under the MIT License. You may use, modify, and distribute the source code in accordance with the license terms.
Fud AI is a nutrition tracking tool, not a medical application. The app does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Nutritional estimates are AI-generated approximations and may not be accurate for all foods. Users with medical conditions, eating disorders, or specific dietary needs should consult qualified healthcare professionals.
By enabling Apple Health integration, you authorize the app to read and write health data as described in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke this access at any time through iOS Settings > Health > Data Access.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the app.
The app requires an internet connection for AI food analysis (unless using a local provider like Ollama). Offline functionality is limited to viewing previously logged data.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
